The 19 year old striker signed in May 2005 from Scunthorpe United. He had spent
the previous 3 years in the Youth team, and in his first season of Reserve team
football for the Irons had scored 25 goals, but finished the end of season 2005-06
on loan at Harrogate Town. Andy turned down the chance of a pro contract at
Scunthorpe to be able to continue his studies at Loughborough University. He
suffered a broken ankle early in season 2006-2007 but returned to the first team
in the second half of the season. Cried off to join RFC Nuneatin Borough in July 2007 |
