Neil progressed to the 1st team through the reserves and the youth side, making
the step up back in 1999. His father, Les, is a former Welsh international footballer
who plied his trade with Coventry City and Wrexham. Neil looks best on the right
in midfield, but is not out of place as a wingback or in a back four. He won a Southern
League Western Division Championship Medal with Hinckley United in 2000/01 and became
the clubs leading appearance holder first in December 2008, confirming his magnificent
contribution to the club in the last 8 years. He missed most of the 2007-2008 season
after suffering a double fracture of his leg early in the season. Signed for Corby Town July 2010. |
