Carl signed for Hinckley United, on non contract terms, from Tamworth in June 2006.
The 6' forward is what can only be described as a much travelled, who started his
career at Leicester United in 1990. He signed to West Bromich Albion in 1991 and won
promotion from Division 3 to Division 2 and also up to Division 1 with them, before
transferring to Swansea City in 1995. After 2 seasons at Swansea, including a play-off
final, he moved to Northampton Town in 1997, who missed out on promotion in the
Division 2 play-off final. He then dropped down into non-league when he signed for
Rushden & Diamonds in 1998, then Chester City in 2000, Forest Green in 2001,
Ilkeston Town in 2002 and finally to Tamworth in 2005. Quit the club in February 2007 after a fallout with the manager. |
