Leigh came through the Reserve and Youth team making a couple of Conference
North appearances in season 2004-05. Took his chance to break through into the
first team and finished season 2005-06 as a regular in defence. Had been plagued
by a stomach virus throughout season 2006-07 preventing him from playing regular
football, but returned to the first team after a spell on loan at Gresley Rovers
in December 2007. He is the son of former Leicester City player and Hinckley United
Assistant Manager, Nicky Platnauer. Released by the club in July 2009 |
