Jamie Sherlock signed on loan fron Lincoln City in March 2007. The midfielder
joined the Imps from Gainsborough Trinity in March 2006
on a deal that initially ran until the end of the 2005/06 season before being
extended by a further year shortly afterwards. A lack of opportunities at first
team level in the early part of the 2006/07 season, however, saw Sherlock link up
with Ilkeston Town in October 2006 in a loan deal, before returning to League Two
Lincoln. Hull born Sherlock helped Brigg Town to the FA Vase in 2003 after joining
them from North Ferriby United in the summer of 2002 and his impressive form saw
him earn himself a move to Conference side Scarborough. Following a loan spell
with Ossett Town, he accepted an offer to join Gainsborough Trinity in summer 2004. Returned to Lincoln City after two underwhelming games |
