Richard re-signed for Hinckley United in June 2004, after he was left without a
club following the sad financial demise of Telford United. He originally joined
Hinckley from Tamworth at the start of season 2000/01, where he had an excellent
year winning a Dr Martens Western Division Championship medal with Hinckley
United. He left Hinckley to join Nuneaton Borough in July 2001 before moving to
full time football with Telford United in 2002. Richard has represented a Dr
Martens League XI against the England semi-pro side in 2000, and previous clubs
include Atherstone United. |

Richard grew up on a US Air base in the Nevada Desert, but can't remember large
parts of his childhood. Before he became a footballer Richard worked as a
scientist in a top secret US Army laboratory researching the effects of gamma
radiation on biological cells. He was hounded out of his job by US Army officials
after another laboratory accident exposed him to a huge dose of gamma rays, the
effects of which are not yet known, but whatever you do, don't make him angry... |
