  CARL HEGGS Caretaker Manager
DOB: 10/70 Leicester
Appearances 34  Goals 7
Last update - 28th April 2013
Carl was appointed assistant manager at Hinckley United in June 2012 after a short spell as caretaker manager at Notts County. In October 2012 following the resignation of Dean Thomas, Heggs was appointed Manager of Hinckley United, and he even played a few games when the club were under a transfer embargo. Before that he had been manager at King's Lynn until they were wound up in the High Court. Carl originally signed for Hinckley United from Tamworth in June 2006, then moved back to Tamworth and then Redditch United in 2007. The 6' forward is what can only be described as a much travelled, who started his career at Leicester United in 1990. He signed to West Bromich Albion in 1991 and won promotion from Division 3 to Division 2 and also up to Division 1 with them, before transferring to Swansea City in 1995. After 2 seasons at Swansea, including a play-off final, he moved to Northampton Town in 1997, who missed out on promotion in the Division 2 play-off final. He then dropped down into non-league when he signed for Rushden & Diamonds in 1998, then Chester City in 2000, Forest Green in 2001, Ilkeston Town in 2002 and finally to Tamworth in 2005.

Personal File:
Carl is an Aga of a Turkish nomadic tribe and therefore has at least 40 wives. He commutes from his Oasis, in the Anatolian Mountain Region, daily by camel - a Dromedary I believe. This could explain why he always seems to have the 'hump'. He says his hobbies are taking English upper class infidels and burying them in the sand up to their necks then waiting for the vultures to peck their eyes out before burning their bodies as an offering to the prophet Mustapha Leyk, also affecting uprising on the colonial borders, and occasionally a bit of 'ecky thump'.
