The 8 Bridges C-R-Y Charity Walk
On Sunday 15th July 2007 the Cardiac Risk in the Young (C-R-Y) charity held a fund raising walk along the banks of the River Thames. Walkers would walk 8 kilometers crossing 8 bridges back and forth across the Thames. Being the closest to London, Hemel Hempstead based Hinckley United fan Mark Conner kindly offered to represent the club and fans by taking part in this walk. He completed the 8 kilometers in 2 hours and 5 minutes and says he enjoyed every moment, and thanks all those who kindly offered sponsorship for him.
