The experienced goalkeeper signed from Tamworth in May 2005. Ryan started at
Stafford Rangers in 1988 making over 300 appearances for them before transfering
to Birmingham City in 1994. From there he moved to Macclesfield Town and won the
Conference Championship with them in 1996/97, also spending a successful season
in the Football League with them. A brief spell with Telford followed in 1999
before a move back to Stafford Rangers in 2001. Ryan left Stafford for the second
time in 2003 when he went back to Conference football with Tamworth. He has also
been capped at England Semi-Pro level 6 times.
